This Comprehensive Plan, prepared back in 2002 was only available in printed form, so the Planning Board scanned the document and is providing PDF (Adobe Acrobat viewable) files for each section as well as individual map files.
There was originally no evidence that this plan was ever voted on, approved, and adopted by the Village government leaders. However (as per the link to the "village_strategic_plan_2002_resolution.pdf below) it has come to light (on June 17, 2016) that this plan was affirmed as adopted by the Board of Trustees on October 25, 2011.
The purpose of providing this previously developed plan is to give visitors of this web site direct access to historic evidence of the Village of Herkimer.
